Meeting with Representatives from the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey

An official visit of Banu Terzioglu, Acting Consul General of the Republic of Turkey, and Canberk Guzel, Commercial Attache of the Republic of Turkey in Batumi, was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Adjara. The meeting was hosted by Giorgi Romanadze, Chairman of the Chamber, and Nugzar Mikeladze, Deputy Chairman.

The parties discussed the close trade and economic ties between the regions and perspectives for future cooperation. The Chairman of the Chamber introduced the guests to current projects aimed at developing the business sector and improving the investment environment. He emphasized the role of Turkish investors and trade partners in the regional economy and noted that the Chamber will continue to be an active mediator between business circles.

For her part, the Acting Consul General thanked the leadership of the Chamber for the reception and noted that the Consulate will actively support all initiatives that will contribute to the growth of trade turnover and the establishment of new partnerships.
