Ajara Chamber of Commerce and Industry Participates in the International Project – BSB LOGINET

The Ajara Chamber of Commerce and Industry is participating in the international project “Black Sea Basin Sustainable Logistics and Cooperation Network – BSB LOGINET”, implemented under the Interreg VI-B NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, co-funded by the European Union.

The project brings together partner organisations from three Black Sea countries: the Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Turkey), the Ajara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Georgia) and the Varna Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Bulgaria). The initiative aims to strengthen cooperation in the logistics sector across the Black Sea region, promote innovative approaches, and enhance institutional partnerships.

The implementation phase of the project officially commenced in March 2026. In this context, the first online working meeting of the project partners was held on 4 March 2026, bringing together representatives of the participating chambers of commerce and industry. During the meeting, partners discussed the key directions for the project implementation phase, planned activities, and coordination mechanisms for effective cooperation among the partner organisations.

The BSB LOGINET project aims to contribute to the development of the logistics sector and to strengthen cross-border cooperation within the Black Sea region. As part of the project activities, a comprehensive analysis of the logistics sector and a logistics development roadmap will be prepared. The project will also organise training programmes for young people in the fields of logistics and digital technologies, hold an international hackathon to support the development of innovative solutions, and establish a digital logistics information platform to facilitate information exchange and enhance cooperation among stakeholders in the sector.

The overall objective of the project is to strengthen logistics connectivity in the region, foster institutional cooperation, and create new opportunities for young people, thereby contributing to sustainable regional economic development.

The project is implemented within the framework of the Interreg VI-B NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme with co-financing from the European Union.
